Greyson and Jackson Brunelle missed their dad, so they decided to get a little creative trying to get him home.
Brandon Brunelle of the United States Navy had been gone eight months of his twelve month deployment.
With Christmas just around the corner, the boys knew if they wanted to all be together for the holidays, they needed help from a Christmas miracle expert: Fred, their elf on the shelf. The two asked the toy elf if he could bring their dad home.
The following day, the boys came home from school to one of the biggest presents they've ever received.
As they unwrapped it, a Christmas wish popped out of the box: their dad in the flesh! Greyson shouted with joy. Jackson couldn’t believe it actually worked.
Fred couldn’t take all the credit. Brandon and his wife Meagan found out he was going to be able to come home for the holidays. They curated the perfect surprise for this special moment that their sons would never forget.
Watch an elf on the shelf pull off a Christmas miracle by bringing a family back together!
